Africa Bussiness Forum and Expo, also known as AFEX, began in Istanbul on Tuesday, as businessmen and officials from various African countries met to discuss economics and trade.
Earlier this year, nearly 1,500 businessmen representing 41 African countries took part in the World Intersectoral Cooperation Forum in Turkey.
During the meeting, increasing trade between Turkey and Africa to 4.5 billion dollars was set forward as an objective. AFEX is taking place between August 29 and 31.
