« Foreign ministers arrive for the 57th Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and related meetings in Jakarta on Monday, September 4.
Ministers and representatives of ASEAN member states and 30 other countries take part in the annual conference in Indonesia on September 4 to 7, under the motto “ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth.” The participants will follow up the 42nd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta in July 2023 and outline prospects for the next ASEAN summit in Laos in March 2024.
Main topics will include ASEAN’s cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, as well as international issues related to transnational crimes and geopolitical challenges around the globe. »
