Rescuers search for missing persons in Toledo after heavy rains and floods claim lives of at least three

« Rescue teams and dogs were seen searching for victims and survivors of the heavy rains and flash flooding in Toledo on Tuesday.
Footage shows the aftermath of flooding, with a car partially buried in a sand dune, trees uprooted, damaged buildings and other debris.
At least three people were confirmed dead around Toledo, with three missing, after Sunday saw record rainfall of 90 litres per square metre. Some people reportedly took refuge on the roofs of their homes.
Similar scenes of flooding were seen across Spain’s central regions, while Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez thanked the emergency services for their efforts. »
