« After passing through Salvador and Sao Paulo, the exhibition ‘Frida Kahlo, the Immersive Biography’ has arrived in Rio de Janeiro. The exhibition features collections of historical photographs, original films, digital environments, art installations, collector’s items, as well as original music created to reproduce while displaying the most relevant moments in the Mexican artist’s biography.
Composed of 13 environments, the exhibition features 360-degree projections and virtual reality rooms that seek to create the sensation of proximity to the events to which they relate, hence the exhibition’s immersive proposal.
Visitors can also check out historical photographs of Frida, replicas of the clothes she wore and which made her a fashion icon, in addition to coloring Frida’s drawings and projecting them on a digital panel.
Created by a Spanish production company, the exhibition has already received more than 250,000 visitors in its Brazilian run. It is currently on display at the Historical Museum of the Armed Forces at Copacabana Fort. »
