« Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on Friday, ahead of the G20 Summit on Saturday and Sunday.
The footage shows Lavrov disembarking from his plane, as well as performers in national costumes welcoming him with a traditional dance display.
The G20 Summit takes place in New Delhi on September 9-10, under the theme ‘One Earth. One Family. One Future’, with Lavrov leading the Russian delegation.
India, as the host and chair of this year’s G20 summit, has pledged to focus on challenges facing the developing world as well as overcoming disagreements between participating countries over the conflict in Ukraine.
At the conclusion of the summit in New Delhi, a G20 Leaders’ Declaration will be adopted, committing those present to the priorities discussed and agreed on during the relevant ministerial and working group meetings. »
