Typhoon Haikui drenches Guangzhou causing floods, subway station closures for third day since landfall

« Several roads witnessed severe waterlogging on Friday in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, due to the remnants of Typhoon Haikui, which struck southern China on Wednesday.
Footage shows workers closing Shiqiao subway station with sandbags, and rescue teams deployed to assist local residents.
Shiqiao subway station in Panyu District, Guangzhou, announced the closure in the morning due to safety concerns because of flooding outside of the station.
Some residents founnd entertainment by fishing on flooded roads.
Hundreds of flights were cancelled due to stormy weather in Guangdong province. »
