« Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Global Biofuels Alliance along with world leaders at G20 summit in New Delhi on Saturday.
The footage shows Modi symbolically pressing the button accompanied by US President Joe Biden, Brazil’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Argentina’s President Alberto Fernandez, Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and others.
The Global Biofuels Alliance seeks to boost the use of cleaner fuels to support the global energy transition.
The 18th G20 Summit, ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’, takes place in New Delhi on September 9-10 and sees India host its first ever meeting of leaders from the world’s largest industrialised and developing economies. »
