« What is so fascinating about mobility? I don’t know exactly why you’re here, but if you step back a bit, mobility is freedom », Habeck said.
As the fair has ‘a big focus’ on climate-neutral mobility, Habeck insisted in the importance to ‘build the competitive, the good cars’. « The best, the most innovative and the most climate-friendly cars will continue to be made in Germany in the future. My mission, but also the mission of the industry », he stated.
The yearly IAA Mobility event in Munich hosts giants of the automobile sector, like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Mini, and Smart, to introduce their newest designs and visionary concepts. »
