« The Western Balkans Summit, hosted by North Macedonian President Penderovski, convened in Skopje on Monday.
Footage captured the welcoming gestures of President Penderovski and his co-hosts for the ‘Brdo-Brioni’ Summit, Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar and Croatian President Zoran Milanovic.
They received Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Albanian President Bajram Begaj, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic, and members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The region’s leaders were also seen coming together for a group photo and engaging in discussions around the summit table.
This summit brought together the heads of state from North Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Montenegro, and Kosovo.
Their primary agenda included discussions on regional cooperation, the European Union aspirations of non-EU Balkan countries, and the relationship between Serbia and Kosovo, as reported by local media.
The ‘Brdo-Brioni’ process, an annual summit involving leaders from Western Balkan countries, traditionally held in the Slovenian town of Brdo and the Croatian town of Brioni, has occasionally moved to other Western Balkan nations in recent times. »
