« Drone footage shows the aftermath of a violent tornado that devastated Daxing, eastern China, on Wednesday, leaving a trail of damaged houses, collapsed walls and fallen trees.
Ten people were reported killed and many more injured in Suqian and Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. More than 5,000 people were affected by the tornado, with citizens forced to evacuate.
The strong tornado hit the city around 5:20 pm local time on Tuesday, with a strength of EF2; 111-135 mph gusts. Strong winds are expected to continue in northern Jiangsu on Wednesday. »
