« Global leaders gathered at the United Nations headquarters in New York on Saturday to participate in the 5th day of the 78th United Nations General Assembly, an annual high-level General Debate.
The footage features Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General and Ambassador Taye Atske Selassie, Permanent Representative of Ethiopia to the United Nations, arriving at the UNGA, among other leaders.
The overarching theme for this year’s event is ‘Rebuilding Trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating Action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards Peace, prosperity, progress, and sustainability for all’.
During this session, Heads of State and Government, along with ministers, will discuss solutions to pressing global challenges, with a focus on advancing peace, security, and sustainable development.
