« Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched the Noor-3 imaging satellite from Semnan Space Centre on Wednesday.
The satellite was launched with a gased launcher and stabilised at an altitude of 45,000 metres above Earth.
According to Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the space unit of the Aerospace Forces, the satellite will be used for public interests and defensive affairs.
Iran’s previous military satellites Noor 1 and Noor 2 were launched in 2020 and 2022 respectively. »
