« In a display of innovation and creativity, high school students from St. Peters College Idah, located in Kogi State, Nigeria, unveiled a collection of SUV vehicles on Saturday.
« I’m one of the leaders of the group that did this St Peter’s College project. I started with my own, back then in 2018. I’ve done so many things, that was what led to the innovation on this new project you are seeing here, » said Samson Emejeh, one of the SUV builders and a former student.
This team of three, including Samson, represented their school at the 2021 and 2022 Science Exhibitions for Nigeria, where they showcased their handcrafted SUV cars and tricycles.
In July, they were awarded automatic scholarships by the Korea-Nigeria Friendship Institute (NKFI) in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State, recognising their invaluable contributions to technology advancement in the African country. »
