‘Autumn cherry blossoms’ in full bloom! Millions of cosmos flowers grace Tokyo’s Showa Kinen Park

« Scores of visitors flocked to Tokyo’s most impressive cosmos flower fields that were seen in full bloom at Tokyo’s Showa Kinen Park on Tuesday.
Footage shows the main gardens with hundreds of different types of cosmos flowers in yellow, lilac and strong pink tones as visitors enjoyed the scenery while promenading through the park.
From mid-September, the park’s hilly meadows are covered with millions of cosmos flowers, and the multi-coloured landscape continues well into October.
Cosmos blooms are a highlight of Japan’s autumn months and are often referred to as ‘autumn cherry blossoms’ due to their colour and beauty. »
