« Pets and their owners dressed up in matching outfits during the 2023 Seoul Pet Festival, that took place in the Souk Korean capital’s World Cup Park on Sunday.
The festival featured various programs, from pet adoption consultations during walks with rescue dogs to free pet health check-ups and advice on behaviour correction.
« We save abandoned pets, cure and help them to find new family. I hope people to give more attention to abandoned pets and adopt, not just buying from the pet shop, » said a pet shelter volunteer.
One of the festival’s highlights was a lecture by the famous dog trainer Kang Hyeong-wook, known as the ‘President of the Dogs’ in South Korea.
“Kang Hyeong-wook’s lecture was good but the festival itself was a bit disappointing, I hope they could make a bigger festival for dogs next time », commented an attendee.
The 2023 Seoul Pet Festival marked the first edtion of this event, aimed to strengthen the bond between pets and their owners, providing a day filled with memorable experiences and valuable knowledge. »
