Office employees evacuate amid sound of sirens as Hamas rockets target Tel Aviv

« Employees evacuated their office in Tel Aviv on Tuesday in response to rocket warning sirens amid reports of rocket attacks on several Israeli cities.
Footage shows the sky over Tel Aviv as explosions can be heard.
Rocket sirens have been activated in Tel Aviv and surrounding cities, extending as far south as Ashdod, in what was reported to be a significant barrage following a period of relative calm.
At time of publication the current casualty count reports more than 900 dead in Gaza and more than 1,200 Israelis.
Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel on Saturday, October 7, firing thousands of rockets as militants broke through into Israeli territory as part of what the group described as ‘Operation Al-Aqsa Flood’.Israel responded with airstrikes on the Gaza Strip and issued a formal declaration of war on Hamas, warning residents in Gaza to leave their homes.
According to the United Nations, over 120,000 Palestinians have been displaced during the current fighting. »
