One person was killed and five others injured as Cairo was engulfed by a massive sandstorm, tainting the skies over the Egyptian capital with an ominous yellow hue, as seen in footage captured on Friday. According to local media, one person was killed as the dust storm hit on Thursday, sending a large billboard crashing down on a road and crushing multiple vehicles. Several road accidents and major disruptions to traffic were also reported due to poor visibility, although no casualties were recorded. Authorities reportedly closed two Red Sea ports as a result of the storm.
